Lubricity

OMG ,

I think I found my new favorite word . . . .

lubricity

I'm not gonna tell you .

Look it up .

I think I have been sufficiently lubricated to continue ,

a discourse .

I've been sick lately with whatever is currently going around .

I don't take drugs ,

licit or illicit .

Licit because I don't believe the drug manufacturers are as concerned
about my physical well being as their fiscal well being . . . .

Let's be honest here , if my dying gets in the way of their bottom line . . . .
guess who's dead .

Illicit , done some , liked them . . . .

I'm a cheapskate the cost always got in the way .

there are two kinds of cost . . . .

monetary and . . . .

after a while neither seemed worth it .

Others never seemed worth it .

I can read and reason .

Reason gets in the way of a lot of things . . . .

I think the things it gets in the way of . . . .

are best forgotten .

Anyway ,

is alcohol a drug . . . .

depends on who you ask .

Between blowing my nose every minute

or trying to cough up a lung . . . .

I've been treating myself with an old family recipe ,

hot toddys . . . .

my mom use to give us hot toddys when we had a cold .

I think now cost and a need for sleep were reason enough .

a teaspoon of sugar ( to help it go down )

a finger of whiskey

fill the glass with hot water

drink it right down

and get in bed and under the covers

sort of sweated it out of you . . . .

Think about it .

You had a restful night ,

and so did she .

I miss the kid . . . .

a lot .

And I know why I like whiskey  . . . .

in addition to treating ills ,

you can take that any way you want .

it lubricates the thought processes ,

that's not quite right ,

they're always there ,

it makes it easier to express them .

hmmm , after checking , I don't think express . . . .

conveys my meaning .

Look it up ,

express milk from a breast . . . .

I don't think so ,

this is not what you would expect to receive ,

from a breast . . . .

sets them free . . . .
